Join one of the largest specialist Not-for-Profit teams in the accounting profession.

Our dedicated team of specialists is expert in delivering services to the education, social housing, charity and membership body sectors. We provide the full range of internal and external audit, tax, corporate finance and advisory services to a growing number of the UK’s largest household names. The strength of the BDO international Not-for-Profit network also enables us to deliver coordinated services to those organisations who operate globally.

Everyone in this team shares a passion for helping organisations that have social purpose, and our approach is highly rigorous. With the opportunity to work on large, complex, international audits, you’ll acquire the same financial reporting skills as your colleagues working in commercial streams, but with the added benefit of early exposure to a wider range of the firm’s client-facing activities such as senior-level client meetings and sales pitches. It’s a great foundation for your future career, whether you choose to specialise in Not for Profit or move on to another area of the firm.

As an Audit trainee, you’ll be a key part of the team, both on-site with clients and in the office, ensuring that all aspects of the audit are completed on time and within budget. You will be supervised and developed by senior members of the Audit group, and we’ll support you in completing your accounting qualification. As your skills advance, you can expect to take on more complex technical work and the management of audits.
