The BSO Financial Reporting (FR) team delivers a range of services designed to help both established and ambitious businesses navigate the complications associated with accounting and financial reporting so that they can focus on what matters and reduce the strains on their teams. We pride ourselves on a personal approach focused on our clients’ business needs and bringing real, practical solutions.

Our FR team has a passion for helping clients and finding practical ways of supporting them in their plans, whether they are long-established multi-nationals or a start-up. We treat each business as unique, offering a bespoke service focussed on their specific needs. Only after understanding a client’s particular business goals and challenges will we deploy the expertise of a leading global firm of accountants to deliver practical solutions and real answers.

As a BSO Financial Reporting Trainee, you’ll be a valuable part of a team specialising in the preparation of statutory financial statements under both UK and international financial reporting standards. It’s a varied and challenging remit that involves providing complex technical accounting advice, assisting clients with accurate migration and translation between other reporting standards and conversion to new accounting standards.
Our FR clients include listed and limited companies and groups across a wide range of sectors – including Life Sciences, Energy, Mining & Industrials, Financial Services & Technology, Media & Telecoms – so you can expect the experience and skills you’ll develop to be just as diverse.

Our structured development programmes last three to four years and during this time we will support you in studying for your professional qualifications (ACA) while developing your own unique career path.

As a BSO Financial Reporting Trainee, your Graduate or Apprenticeship programme will include a secondment to our Audit stream, broadening your horizons and setting you up for the best possible future.
